Directions:

In a saucepan, boil basil leaves in 1-1/2 cup of water. Once boiled, remove the leaves with a spoon and squeeze excess water from the leaves so all the juices from the leaves are used.

In a small bowl, mix 1/2-cup water and jaggery to make a syrup. Add jaggery syrup, salt, crushed cloves, and black pepper to the basil water. Bring it all to a boil until it is combined and has a thick consistency.

Remove from heat. Add lemon juice and chopped almonds to the mixture and stir.

Pour the mixture into an ice pop mold. Place the stick into each ice pop and let it freeze for at least 4 hours.
